Easy, Easter Egg Topiary | Tutorial
What You'll Need:
5" Styrofoam Ball
Small Block of Stryofoam
Small Container/Bucket/Basket
Easter Eggs (color(s) of choice)
Spanish Moss/Easter Grass/Tissue Paper/Tulle
Bamboo Stick/Dowel

Scissors
Glue Gun & Plenty of Glue Sticks
(All items mentioned above can be found at your local craft store or Walmart)
TUTORIAL:
Step one, we can have lots of fun (sorry, I had to):
1. Glue eggs on Styrofoam ball, alternate direction of eggs as you go around. Note: At the end of this process you may have bare spots; simply fill in with additional eggs (make sure to keep direction opposite of adjacent eggs).
2. Once all eggs are glued and anchored, fill in with Spanish moss. (Note: You could also use Easter grass, tissue paper or tulle.)
4. Next, insert the bamboo stick/dowel inside the Styrofoam ball (you may want to add a bit of hot glue for security). Then place a Styrofoam cube inside the middle of the bucket/pot/basket. Note: Cut the cube so it fits snuggly inside bucket, this helps prevent wobbliness, however you could add stones for more stability.
5. Add additional moss (or tissue paper) to the bucket & a festive bow to the base of the topiary. Viola, you're done! This cute arrangement that would look darling anywhere in the home! For me, I think I'll place it in my daughter's room with a big floppy plush bunny sitting next to it (smiles)!

It's Always Ruetten
Found you through Six Sisters. I just love our topiary. The moss really makes this. I have not the least bit of craftiness but I think I might be able to make this. I would love to try. It is one of the best Easter decorations I have seen. Would love if you would like to our link Party which starts Wednesday night (Thursdays Treasures)
